Alcohol Prep Pads

Medical Practitioners have used Alcohol Prep Pads in their practices for many years as a means to disinfect and clean a patient's skin surface prior to an injection or prior to stitching and dressing a wound. Most Alcohol Prep Pads contain 70% Isopropyl Alcohol, which is effective against bacteria, fungi, and viruses and evaporates quickly. Because of these qualities, Alcohol Prep Pads are also used for disinfecting some small medical devices, such as stethoscopes, between patients and for disinfecting vial stoppers prior to drawing up medications.
