Procedural
Extension Tubing®
Pain Management Physicians, anesthesiologists, and nurses, in hospitals and surgery centers, use extension tubing during epidural pain management procedures to minimize any needle movement when attaching and detaching various syringes during a procedure. Extension tubing also minimizes exposure of the interventionist's hand from the fluoroscopy. Extension tubing can also be used in the IV Fluid delivery system to add length to existing tubing, to provide quicker access to, and more accurate control of fluids or medications administered to a patient. The Luer-Lock system in the extension tubing provides secure connections and the range of lengths (6 inch, 12 inch, 36 inch) provides flexibility in a variety of clinical settings.
